Gerry Barañano brings over 20 years’ experience in new product introductions and traditional sales and marketing with deep expertise in launching new innovative products and services into established industries, both domestically and internationally. He has held senior level positions in the areas of business development and sales management at a number of companies in telecommunications, personal computers, media, and related industries.

As Partner with ExecutionAdvantage Partners, LLC, Gerry launches innovative products, services and whole new business units. Gerry works in both established and emerging markets, with start-ups and some of the largest multinational corporations.

From his extensive experience in start-up companies and in new product introductions to established markets, Gerry believes in frequent, early interactions with potential customers prior to finalizing product positioning, strategy, and messaging. Experience teaches strategy in the absence of market feedback is both insufficient and prone to error. This early customer interaction creates an important market feedback loop, called Diagnostic-Sales™, which corrects strategic and positioning errors early. Gerry believes a paying customer is the truest and most reliable form of market feedback. With a market-vetted strategy, an aggressive sales effort quickly generates significant early revenue. Gerry Barañano holds a B.A. from Yale University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Gerry is active as a Board member of several non-profit organizations. Gerry lives in Oakland with his wife and high school son.
